Biography

Paul James as Calvin on ABC Family’s Greek.


American actor Paul James is a native of Washington, DC. Growing up in Maryland, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Syracuse University, majoring in Drama courses. Paul James has worked on movies such as the murder thriller Cry_Wolf, Glass House, and The Architect alongside Golden Globe winner Anthony LaPaglia. He’s also acted on television in The Deerings, Cold Case , and Twenty Questions. Aside from being a cast member in ABC Family’s new college-based television series Greek , James is also set to appear alongside Sarah Jessica Parker in the upcoming film Spinning Into Butter.

 

Calvin Owens is played by Paul James in the upcoming ABC Family television show Greek. Pledged to Omega Chi Delta as a legacy member, he’s still Rusty’s closest friend and helps out the naïve newcomer through the Greek system, even as he remains amazed and amused by Rusty’s earnest innocence. Though a bit of a maverick and outsider, Calvin is sharp-minded and savvy, capable of reading people and telling them what they want to hear, and navigates different rooms with practiced ease. It’s revealed at one point that he had a gay encounter with a member of Kappa Tau Gamma, though the truth of this remains disputed, due to Calvin’s adeptness in retelling his stories with new facts almost every single time.

Biography

Spencer is just 23 years old and has already racked up quite a resume. She has guest starred in such shows as The Clubhouse, The Bedford Diaries, and her father, Kelsey Grammer’s, show “Cheers” when she was just eight years old. Before joining the cast of As the World Turns in 2006, she starred in a movie called “The Path of Most Resistance” which just recently won Best Motion Picture award at a film festival. Although, she only did 72 episodes on ATWT before being let go, Spencer has received some major applause for taking on such a popular character and pairing(Lucy and Dusty). She also has quite a fanbase, now. You can catch Spencer in the motion picture “Descent” as Shannon and as the lead character in the ABC FAMILY hit “GREEK”. Scott Michael Foster stars as the young up-and-coming filmmaker Jed on NBC’s newest drama series, “quarterlife.” First made as an Internet series, “quarterlife” explores the lives of six creative twentysomethings trying to find their way in the world.

Foster currently also stars on the ABC Family show “Greek.” Foster plays ‘Cappie’ who is the president of the Kappa Tau fraternity and Casey’s crazy cool ex-boyfriend who by all accounts cannot be taken seriously. In the series, he has to prove that he is more than meets the eye.

Foster just completed a guest starring role on “Women’s Murder Club” opposite Angie Harmon and stars in the upcoming independent feature “Teenage Dirtbag.”

Raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Foster was active in college theatre and local stage productions. In addition to his role in “Greek,” his other film and television work includes roles in indie films “The Horrible Flowers” and “Forever Charlie.” He has also appeared in various national commercials.

Foster also enjoys performing with his band “Siren’s Eye” where he is the lead singer and plays rhythm guitar.
